Grace Presbyterian Church of Peoria, IL had one of its largest Life Chain participations in 1998 with over 90 of its people standing for Life on University by Richwoods High School. A time of fellowship and refreshments sponsored by the Home Builders Sunday School Class was held following at the same site. When one considers that there are over 400 Churches in Central Illinois, a simular effort by all Pro Life Churches in the area would surely swell the total Life Chain attendance far, far beyond this years total of 700 people. |
